Tales from Within:

How I began writing

ECHOES OF THE PAST: THE CONTINUING

LEGACY OF A STORY IN SUBSEQUENT TALES

One day, while sitting on the seaside terrace, I was suddenly caught in a downpour as dark clouds rolled in over the bay. The sound of muffled thunder made it clear that I would have to retreat indoors.

I grabbed a pen and began writing a story that had been on my mind since childhood. To my surprise, the words flowed effortlessly and the story wrote itself at a brisk pace. I wrote “Vid Naron” and soon after, another book. Writing became effortless and I now have a small collection of written works that I hope to get published.

1. “Vid Naron”, a tale of the first human enclave on Earth, the origin of mankind and what really happened. It takes you through the fundamental questions of existence, exploring the purpose and self-discovery.

 2.  “Dresden”, the story about Paul, an ordinary Jew in Nazi Dresden who faced with death transforms into the feared Nazi with a secret agenda, and falls in love with the loyal daughter of the Reich. The tale explores revenge and sacrifice.

I also wrote a book with 7 short stories;

1.  “Once upon a flame”, about an artist who burns all his work and falls in love with a beautiful neighbor who is a high-profile gallerist.

2. “Bypass”, about a man who, after discovering the meaning of life, faces trials while trying to solve the final riddle.

3. “Interflug”, the story about GDR Pilot who falls in love with a plastic doll in a flight simulator while his wife has a different idea.

4. “Love is blind”, about a tycoon who accidentally kills an old woman and gets away with it, only to face the consequences of killing a succubus.

5. “Pylons are beautiful by sunset”, about a boy living with his single mother, who, after witnessing her suffer injustice and discrimination, builds a device that changes the destiny of many. But is his mother that innocent…

6. “Man from Vladivostok”, about a wealthy man who, after becoming dissatisfied with materialism and hedonism, sets out to find more meaning in life. He will be on his way to Vladivostok after the mysterious encounter with the New York beggar.

7. “Electric Flower”, you can read this short story by clicking here.

Everything will pass

And what is left behind,

that too will pass

NOT EVERYTHING THAT CAN BE COUNTED COUNTS.

NOT EVERYTHING THAT COUNTS CAN BE COUNTED.

Almost everyone who sees my paintings asks the

same question: “What is the meaning of this painting”.

And what is the meaning of life?

Life is to live, as it all is temporary.

Glimpses; life; ochre leaves on the autumn wind,

a yard echoing playful children’s laughter at dawn,

lovers watching the starlight which was millions of

light years away, cold sweat after revelation of mortality,

acceptance of the imminent, first orgasm, last kiss,

raindrops on cheeks and wonderful love fools running and

hugging on the meadow…

Embrace it, it will all pass, enjoy while it lasts.

“What is the meaning of this painting?”

And what is eternal if not the meaning.
Serenity, tranquility, primal elements in light.
It is too early to ask for meaning.

Life is to live, all will pass, enjoy while it lasts.
